Amal Clooney
Amal Clooney was born Amal Ramzi Alamuddin. She is a Lebanese-British barrister human rights activist, philanthropist and human rights advocate. She graduated from Oxford University and New York University School of Law her extensive and impressive career in the fields of human rights and international law have won her international acclaim. Some of her most prominent clients include many nation states including Armenia. of Armenia in its fight to be recognized as the Armenian Genocide by the Turkish government. Amal Clooney was engaged and then married American actor George Clooney in 2014 instantly becoming a household name in the world of popular culture. Before this, she had previously been a well-known name by the legal profession because of her capacity to advocate for clients. She has tackled human and civil rights issues, to representing several multi-national corporations in court proceedings and negotiations over government regulations. As of 2015, she was a barrister one type of legal representative within British courts at London-based Doughty Street Chambers.
